We are starting to work in the house that we are buying. It's really nice to get it emptied out and start planning for our home. We have a place where the original fireplace was, but it looks like a gas stove was put there for heat at one point. We are now looking into buying one of those cool
electric fireplace or gas fireplace settings. They are pretty and work well! My in laws have a gas one that I love- you turn it on with a remote! No splitting wood or hauling it! Just click and enjoy the heat! No messy clean up either! Nothing beats a real fire, they are amazing, but lots of work and we wouldn't use it often. Mom has a fireplace and usually Christmas day is the only time we burn it in December and maybe 2x in January. Do you have a recommendation for a fire place?
